Floating through cool salty air, no end in sight
The vast expanse deafening in its scale
Senses and the mind overwhelmed by the incomprehensibility of its infinity
Uncertainty and endlessness in each direction
Surrounded by so much nothingness, trapped, and yet free
A weary traveller far from home
Searching for the beginning to find peace
Fingertips trespassing at the surface of the water
And the ocean reaching back.
